Alfonso Trujano, Jr. embarked on his career in 2000 at Govind and Associates, Inc., a Texas-based civil-structural engineering firm. He held responsibility for the design, construction, and inspection of engineering projects totaling over $2.0 billion. In 2006, Alfonso joined DOS Logistics, Inc., tasked with establishing the engineering division and leading the design of the inaugural Texas Inland Port, facilitating the processing of international cargo through Texas Ports.
In 2008, Alfonso became Director of Technology Development at LR Global, LLC, and in 2009, he was promoted to Vice President of Latin American Markets, overseeing projects and technology development worth over $200 million.
May 2010 saw Alfonso take on the role of CEO at LR International, Inc., rapidly propelling the company into a 500-million-dollar international project management entity for defense contractors. During this period, he actively participated in training exercises and educational initiatives with law enforcement agencies across the US and Mexico. From 2006 to 2012, Alfonso managed successful political campaigns across various levels of government in the United States.
Between 2015 and 2018, Alfonso served as a National Security Advisor for Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto. In parallel, he founded and presided over Model Communication Concepts, Inc., Arinsta International, LLC., and United for Renaissance, LLC.
In 2019, Alfonso assumed the role of the President and CEO at The Professional Development Institute USA. He spearheaded educational programs using the Harvard University Global System approach to achieve scholastic certifications.
Alfonso’s community leadership roles encompass membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers, Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and American Society of Civil Engineers – Corpus Christi Chapter. He was appointed President for the term 2006-2007. He also chaired the City of Corpus Christi Livable Communities Initiative Advisory Board and the Unified Development Code Board.
Alfonso’s accomplishments include recognition from the Texas Academy of Science and Technology for his research findings at the 103rd Texas Academy of Science and Technology Awards, alongside various government certifications.
Alfonso’s background lies in Civil Engineering, National Security, and Entrepreneurship. He earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M, and more recently, an MBA from Charisma University, as well as an honorary Ph.D. from Harvard University for his National Security Initiatives.
